     Using the online databases that Northlake Community College provides, a student can find reliable resources for a research paper. The amazing thing about the online databases, it provides the individual with peer reviewed (scholarly) sources. Other databases such as Opposing Viewpoints, CQ Researcher and OmniFile provides information that is also peer reviewed. Opposing viewpoints can provide a pro and con to a topic that I'm searching for. When I was rearching for why the minimum wage should be rsaised it gave me thousands of sources to look into. What makes it easier, I can insert what time frame I want the sources to be so that it can be more recent sources. Meaning it cuts down the thousands of sources I had at first to hundreds. Another pro to the online databases, if I decide to compare minimum wage here in the United States with a foreign country, the online databases can provide that information as well.
